Well it is week #2 and I haven't been giving it my all for this lifestyle change. Okay, so I haven't lost anything this week. What I have learned is that no matter what is going on in your life there are some things that you have to focus on. There will be times when life gives you ups and downs but that doesn't mean it has to take control on your lifestyle change (a.k.a DIET).
Just a few tips I've decided to follow for those ups and downs:
- Before you munch on that cookie, candy bar or just munch think about why you're doing it. Is it because you're sad, happy, depressed or emotional? If yes to any of those then grab a glass/bottle of water.
- Involve yourself in an activity that will take your mind off of the situation. Talk a walk with your iPod, your children or your doggie for about 30 minutes.
